I have been finding myself in "wish" mode a lot lately.
I wish I wasn't sick. I wish it wasn't so hot. I wish we had a new car with AC. I wish we could go on a cruise. I wish I didn't have to go to work. I wish we weren't poor. I wish I had new clothes. I wish Adalie wouldn't climb all over me. I wish my hair was longer. I wish we had it easy. I wish someone would give us money lol. I wish we didn't have to pay rent. I wish I had a new bed. I wish I had a new couch. I wish my back wouldn't hurt. I wish I was skinny. I wish I was home near family. I wish Brett was done with school. I wish I was done with school. I wish someone else would change Adalie's poopie diaper. I wish a lot of things... lol
But, atleast I have a car. Atleast I have a really good job. Atleast Brett has a really good job. Atleast I have clothes. Atleast Adalie is a happy, healthy little girl who loves so much. Atleast I have hair left in my head. Atleast I have a wonderful husband to help me. I have a nice place and things in it to live on. Atleast I am healthy. Atleast I have a husband who has a great desire for a wonderful education and who is very dedicated to becoming something great. Atleast I get to be a mother....I should be a lot more greatful for that and quit my complaining.
I do have it good in life and I do have a wonderful life. Sometimes I just need to remind myself.

Birthday Month For everyone!!
This month has been full of BIRTHDAYS! For those of you who don't know, all of our birthdays are in July. This poor baby will be the odd man out being born in February.
My birthday was on the 16th and Brett took me out to a wonderful dinner at my favorite little Indian restaurant. He got me my favorite bottle of perfume and this really good lotion from Victoria secret that I can never bring myself to buy no matter how much I love it....it always makes me feel so guilty becuase it is so expensive. I love this stuff though and I am so happy with my gift!!!
We got to go to Lava Hot Springs during Brett's birthday weekend and had some really good fun! Although I couldn't get in to actualy hot springs, the pool was nice and camping was a lot of fun. Brett got his new alarm clock he has wanted for a while, a movie, and a cd he wanted too. We also got to go to one of his favortite places to eat Tucano's, a great Brazilian all you can eat meat buffet....definately a man's domain.
On the 25th Adalie turned TWO!! I can't believe it, another year has flown by. She is so sassy and a know it all. haha She has definitely realized lately she is the only one around and thinks she can call the shots on everything. We got to go swimming, and I will tell you one thing, this baby girl is definitely a water baby. There is nothing more that she loves than to be outside, but being outside and in the water thrills her to no end.
Although her favorite thing in the world is Finding Nemo, we had to go with her next favorite theme for the cake, Spongebob Squarepants. Sam's Club and Wal-mart have lost their copyrights to nemo and I had absolutely no time to make a cake for her birthday. We went with the easy way out and just bought one.She got a lot of fun things for her birthday including lots of fake food and dishes for her new Kitchen from Grandmama and Grandpa Texas. Her Grandama and Grandpa Colorado gave her these beautiful dolls to start a little collection for her. They are beautiful and Adalie always wants to hold them and sing to them, they are glass though so we have to put them a little out of her reach until she is only. They are just a "look at" toy.

Feelin It
This week has definitely reminded me over and over again that I am really pregnant. Sometimes I forget and it hasn't quite yet sunk in. I am so sick and throw up all the time. I was really hoping this one would be different in the fact that I wouldn't be as sick. I have lost 8 lbs in three days due to throwing up. Not the ideal way to lose the weight and I absolutely HATE up-chucking. I constantly feel nauseous and tired. Hopefully it gets better in a few weeks when I reach the 3 month mark. I don't want to sound ungrateful though to those of you who might think I am, because I am very happy....I just wasn't prepared for the sick part of it again. Ugh.
On another note Adalie is getting so big. She amazes me with the words she uses and the things she knows. I wonder all the time where did she learn that? because some of the things she says are so random. She is such a little happy girl with a BIG attitude lol. She will tell you whats what anytime. Her new thing is time out in the corner behind the couch. It is so funny because if she knows she has done something wrong she says "time out?" in a little whimper and goes and sits herself down until I tell her she can get out and come and talk to me about what she has done.
My birthday is coming up on the 16th. I forgot that I was 24....I was hoping I was still 22. Brett will be 25 on the 2oth and Adalie follows suit on the 25th officially hitting the terrible twos. A July month full of birthdays.

Camping
We took a little three day camping trip over the weekend and it was lots of fun! Adalie had a hay day living outside for a few days. She ate pretty much whatever she wanted and got as dirty as she wanted too. She even caught her first fish! It was so hot during the day and freezing during the night....hardly ever a happy medium. We went to a little campground site in the payson mountains about an hour away and it was beautiful. Despite my horrible paranoia of bears sneaking into our camp sight a night, things went great.
I was a little cranky at times (sorry to my poor husband who had to out up with my attitude) but if there is one thing I have noticed about this pregnancy, it is my horrible demeanor at times. I don't remember being this mean when I was pregnant with Adalie. lol.

Joining the Masses
Of Pregnant women! Brett and I just found out we are expecting baby number two come February 2010. It happened a little sooner than expected considering we only stopped "preventing" about a month ago, but I should've learned my lesson with my little birth control baby named Adalie Marie. I am now being refered to in the family as fertle mertle.This time already feels way different though. I am thinking Boy a lot. lol We are excited though, but I am still not used to the idea of two children...I have no idea what I am going to do with myself. lol
I took a test at home with Adalie and had her whisper it to him when he got home from work in his ear "mommy have a baby" He laughed, and said he called it a few weeks ago and was just waiting for the day I would tell him hahaha. Welcome baby number two! Wish us luck!!
