Sick Babies always come at the worst times.... at least Grandmama and Grandpa will be here to give her LOTS of lovin' soon. I hate it, hate it, hate it, when babies are sick. Poor things!!
Oh and a side note. I don't know if any of you have ever heard of the show Yo gabba gabba, but Adalie loves it (it is so creepy). And I can't believe this, but Jack Black of all people is going to be the guest star on it soon haha

Its Started!
The Family will be rolling in soon and I am so excited they are here! Rebecca got her yesterday and mom and dad will be here next week. I love having my family here at any excuse they might want to come. lol We got to hang out with Jennifer and Rebecca yesterday and took a little trip to OutBack but I must say I was a little dissapointed. They got rid of my Cyclone pasta!! Ahh!! Anywho, time for the family festivities to begin!! woo hoo!!

It's been a while
Hello again! Not much has really been going on here. Brett's mom came to visit last week for a few days and that was great. We had our first taste of Kneaders and Rachel O. if you are reading this....YUMMM!! We got a new computer desk that fits in the corner and also a new computer chair, Yay for tax returns right? haha This next week my sister Rebecca is coming up for a bit and then mom and dad will follow suit the week after and I am soooo excited! I miss home a lot. I got my plane ticket too! woo hoo! I will bein Texas the end of May until June 2. Brett takes his DAT May 30 so we thought it would be nice to get out of his hair a week or so before his test to give him some breathing room. Any excuse to go to Texas right??
Adalie has been doing pretty good the last couple of nights when it comes to going to bed (cross your fingers). Brett was a trooper the other night. He rocked her for almost an hour.....while Adalie was screaming her head off. But, eventually she gave in to sleep. She is still coughing throughout the night though and I just can't stand it! Poor baby....this has been going on for 2 mths straight now. I feel so bad for her and hate the thought of having to take her to the Doctor yet again.
Anywho, today was nice though. I was supposed to work tonight, but thankfully someone covered my shift tonight and I got out! Yay!
And I have to take a moment to brag about Adalie. She is SO good in nursery. There are peep holes on the doors of the classroom and every time I peep in she is playing so nice or sitting so sweet for singing time. The leaders tell me they never have to worry about her because she is so well behaved and just a sweet heart. When we drop her off I feel so bad because there are ten other kids just screaming their heads off and Adalie is sitting so still in her seat waiting patiently for her snacks. It doesn't even phase her when I tell her goodbye and kiss her cheek. I am so glad she is a fan of nursery!! Despite her sick she seems to pick up every now and them from there, she is such a good girl!!

My wife spoke to soon!!!
This is Brett, I know I don't write too often but here I am. A couple posts before this Lydia spoke about how Adalie is going down to sleep so well, but apparently great things are not supposed to last. Recently Adalie has been a brat when it is time for bed. We put her in her crib where she is fine for a couple of minutes, but then she begins to scream and cry. We figure we should let her cry a while, but the last three nights in a row she has started to throw up so that we have to come and get her. When she throws up, we have to get her out of bed to change her sheets and such, and she just smiles looks at us and says BATH!! She loves baths. It is driving us nuts, I swear she is throwing up on purpose because she knows that we will have to then come and get her out. I hope this doesn't last long!

Friday Nights
I hate working late on Friday nights. I never get home until 12 am and when I do, I come home wired from adrenalin and Brett is pretty much dead to the world. So, I try and wine down by catching up on my blogging and facebooking lol.
Last Saturday Daddy/Brett took us on another date. This time we went to a 3D movie at the Planetarium. It was so neat! It was an Under water 3d adventure! I forgot how fun 3d movies can be. It hurt my eyes trying to get used to it at first...I kept going cross eyed...but after a few minutes it was like the fish were swimming right at us! Adalie even loved it. She kept reaching out her hands and calling the fish like she calls the cats haha it was pretty funny and so cute.
She passed out though after the first thirty minutes and stayed asleep through lunch. My sister in law and two of her kids, Colton and Macady, came with us to! Such a good Day!! I love getting out and doing fun things with the family!!

Nursery
So this is the second time that Adlalie has been to nursery in our new ward and guess what...she is sick again!! Ugh!! The first Sunday she came home with a very bad cough that turned to croop. She didn't go for the next two weeks because she still had a very bad cough and I didn't want to risk other kids getting sick. Well yesterday she finally got to go back and this morning, woke up with a new horrible cough AND horrible diarrhea!! She literally has been no where else this whole week except for nursery. I am on the verge of being done with nursery. It really makes me not want to even bring her there becuase when I do, I have to deal with a very sick baby all week...not fun at all. And having her with me during all meetings is pointless because I have to go in the hall and can't pay attention to the lesson with her in there with me anyways.... Ugh. Should I say something to someone at church? Would it be rude to bring it up to the bishop or maybe the nursery leader? I seriously have no idea what to do...
