So we are in! Woo hoo! It feels so good to finally be unpacked. Except for a few DI boxes hanging around, our house seem some what organized. We actually took the time to go through every box we own and threw out SO much stuff....stuff I had forgotten we even owned! I figured if we lived without it all summer, we probably didn't need it that much. It feels good to be in our own place through and to have a somewhat permanent home for a while.
Vegas was so much fun! It was great to get away for a while and just relax. We went to a few shows and of course walked the strip a few times. You know Vegas amazes me. It is home to the saddest, yet at the same time happiest people. That have to be making
BANK at those casinos. It was so funny to see how fast people were loosing their money....there were slot machines everywhere and it didn't matter what time it was, there were
tonz of people gambling. A lot of them were old people too. haha they l
oved the slots! All in all through, I don't think it was all it is hyped up to be....unless you have a lot of money to burn, it might not be your place. There are a lot of cool shows to see and the city does come alive at night...

ugh, Dave and I have been living in this apartment and we haven't tackled the boxes of junk we have yet...props for throwing out stuff :)
I'm so glad to hear that y'all made it home safe and sound! Doesn't it feel liberating to get rid of stuff? I love my trips to Goodwill with bags of junk.
