BigSister and LittleBrother

Well Cason had his 2 mth check up today and all in all it went pretty well. Poor kid had to get shots and cried some pretty hard real tears. He is 12 lbs and 24 inch long! Growing SO fast! Bringing him home barley two mths ago at 6.3 and 19 inch, it seems like he might just be our tall and hefty one. The Dr did notice something though...he has a flat head on one side, I forgot the technical term he used. Cason seems to favor his right side so his head and ear are a little flat in comparison to his left. He gave us some stretches though to do with him and hopefully since we caught the problem early, he won't have to go to physical therapy or have to wear a baby corrective helmet. We will see how it goes and the Dr will check again at his 4mth apt. Meanwhile I have been so paranoid since he said it and have been turning his poor little head all day and holding him with my right arm instead of my left like I normally do.

On another note, it looks like we have started the potty training adventure for reals this time. We have been doing it since Monday and boy has it been an adventure!! We are pretty determined though and have been inside all week just to show how serious we are! You thought I was antisocial before, well now I am sure people don't think I don't exist anymore. LoL It will be over soon though right? I guess she hasn't done too bad thus far but the first couple of days are always the hardest right?? RIGHT?!? Ugh, I need some reassurance haha

It is called torticollis. Ethan had it severely and had to go to physical therapy for months! he even had to wear a TOT collar to help him develop those neck muscles. Do the stretches! He will most likely scream and cry but it's worth it to do them. You cn check out Ethan and I's adventures with it on our blog on some old posts from 2007 &2008. Good luck with it all, it's not any fun!

I was just about to say the same thing as Ashleigh. Mali Su had it. At 6 weeks I noticed it, mentioned it to our Dr. and she started physical therapy for months. The stretches are great.
