Conversations with Adalie

Adalie and I went on a mini mommy daughter date while daddy stayed home with Cason on Thursday. Mall and pretzel bites. While sitting in the food court passing the time away with my sweet little girl, I started to ask her a few questions....
Me: Hey Adalie what do you want to be when you grown up?
Adalie: I want to hunt animals.
Me: You want to be an animal hunter?!
Adalie: (raising her hand to my face trying to swallow her pretzel) Like I was saying, I want to play baseball.
Me: But I thought you said you wanted to be an animal hunter?
Adalie: Come on mother, i want to be a baseball player who hunts animals.

Poor little girl is getting sick. She walked into our room last night and threw up in the pack n play we have set up in there. She had a rough night trying to get back to sleep and is now passed out in her room catching up on her rest. Poor thing. I hope it goes away fast. Nothing worse than sick babies.

Brett has six days left of school. Awesome!!!!

come on mother!

i still say those exact words to my mom. all the time. ;-)

i like that she threw up IN the pack n play. for some reason as a kid i used to always lean over (away from the bed) and throw up on the carpet. and then as my poor mother scrubbed my vomit out of the carpet at 3 in the morning, she would kindly remind me that it's much easier for her to wash a vomit comforter than puke covered carpet.

it's a wonder my mother still loves me. because honestly, that happened way too many times.

all that rambling = "lydia, you're such a good mother"

Wow, that sounds awesome. I think I want to be a baseball player that hunts animals when I grow up too.
