Telling Stories

So, just some random stories from the past few days.

I got new tennis shoes!! Woot, woot!! A great perk of being married to a foot Dr. is a HUGE discount on good shoes. =) Just in time for my "Lydia needs to be sexy" change. Brett got his two...pretty dang awesome. It actually makes me want to try running again, but ya we will see about that one.

Brett's

The other day I was talking to Brett about switching my birth control option (sorry if that's tmi) I have yet had my body react well to one yet....Brett said "You should just go back to the pill" and I said "The pill scares me. We got pregnant with Adalie on the pill and what if I forget to take it??" (I am horrible about remembering to take medicine) and then Brett says "Just put it somewhere wear you will see it all the time, every day...you know like the fridge" After that comment, I might have thrown my handful of trail mix I was eating at the time at him from across the room....and then laughed hystarically.

I left a bag of sugar on the floor in the grocery bag yesterday. It had opened a little and fell over on the floor. I didn't notice this until Brody was right up on it eating all the sugar off the floor. Happy as could be.  Brody's first sugar rush....awesome.

We went to the park last night while Brett was working late. It was Brody's first go at the swings. He loved it and laughed the whole time.

Adalie loves the swings too. Cason, not so much. It terrifies him for some reason.

Today Cooper (our dog) found a big spider and tried to eat it. The spider started to crawl all over his face which made Cooper freak out trying to get it off his nose. I was already freaking out because I didn't want Cooper in all his thrashing around to sling the spider across the room. I was screaming "NO! Stop Cooper! Let me get a shoe!!" Cason was ready with is own shoe and pounded that spider into the ground when it flew off Cooper's nose.

first, i love your spider stories. i need a cason.

also, i'm so slow. i totally didn't get that "y'know, like in the fridge" comment until two paragraphs later. NOW i get why it was so funny and what he was hinting at. on that note though and in the spirit of full disclosure... i keep my vitamins in the fridge. it is the only place where i'll remember to take them consistently. doesn't matter if it's above the kitchen sink or on my bathroom counter, no where else works. so i'm with your wonderful husband. get over your pride and keep your pills in the fridge! (mine are at eye level on the door... right next to the butter. because how can you miss it when it's right next to butter?!)
