So, Brett, Adalie, and I got to Colorado Springs. It was a very long trip starting late Monday night around 10 pm and driving straight through and arriving at our final destination around 5:00 Tuesday night. It turned out to be a great idea to leave late at night because Adalie slept from about 10pm until 8 am. Phew!! Everyone was really excited to see us...mostly baby I am sure. She already has people around here wrapped around her little finger haha. Wednesday morning we went to the Co Springs zoo with Great Grandpa, Grandma, Grandpa, and cousin Nick. It was so much fun! We even got to feed the giraffes and the birds! And Adalie got her first ride on a carousel.
Thursday I got to go to my first professional baseball game and it was so much fun! We got to go to this buffet served before and during the game all the food you could eat! Yum! Skysox killed the Las Vegas 51's and I even got up enough courage to take a picture with the mascot. For those of you who don't know, mascots freak me out, hence my facial expression. Now it is Friday and I just want to relax and maybe play some wii. Tomorrow will be a long day at the water park!
