One thing I hate about living in apartments, especially on the bottom floor, there is always a noisy neighbor upstairs.
What are they doing up there? Do they move their furniture all the time? Jump roping in the house? Building something? Break glass? Are they so deaf that they need to turn the TV up SO loud that everyone knows their a CMT fan? Do they need the radio on at 3 am because that's when all the good songs come on? Sheesh you think they would remember that someone lives under them. I am often tempted to put Adalie right up next to the air vents and let her cry into them so they know what annoying is. Maybe I will hammer something to the ceiling at 2 in the morning so they can't sleep either.
Wow, I sound mean...

I live on the top floor... I bet I'm one of those annoying people... our old neighbor used to bang on our floor/her ceiling like Mr Heckles off friends!
AMEN sister! Our upstairs neighbors sound like they're at the gym and dropping dumbbells all over the place--at ALL times of the day. I feel your pain.
I'm a bottom-dweller, too, so I can relate. It's like they each weigh 500lbs and stomp around. The best part is today they started renovating the apt above us and they are so loud when they put stuff on the floor that it sounds like it's going to go straight through the floor. On the flip side, they aren't there during the night, so it's nice and quiet while we are trying to sleep. Too bad it's only temporary.
Our upstairs neighbors have hardwood floors in almost their whole house, most of the time it doesn't bother us too much. But when we go to bed at 9:30 and are kept awake by their golden retriever (not a light dog) jumps on and off their bed and runs back and forth down the hallway. Sometimes I'm tempted to move our bed into one of the spare bedrooms in hope that the dog frequents those rooms less. Their bed is also squeeky, talk about awkward.
Lol I am so glad I found people who could relate!!
wow you really nailed that one on the head. That'a exactly how it is living in apartments. We are still renters at this time in our lives but we decided to make the switch from apartments to a house because we couldn't stand it anymore.
