We started out our summer vaca in Idaho for my Brother in laws wedding. It was so nice and lots of fun to get to see everyone there! We had a scare on our way out there though....right before we got into Idaho we had to stop at an urgent care because Adalie spiked a 104.5 fever out of nowhere. She had been sick the week before with a bladder infection so we thought it might be that again. I have never seen her fever get that high before so I was really worried. They ran lots of test and even took a white blood cell count, but couldn't find anything wrong and just told us to keep giving her Tylenol to reduce the fever. She ran a fever for the next three days, but it was still never explained. It was weird and I worried the whole time...
The family did convince me however to go rafting with them on her last day of fever while my sister in laws mother watched the kids. Although I felt bad leaving my poor sick baby, I will admit we had fun. It was WAY cold but awesome rapids!
I absolutely LOVE white water rafting. Brett and I went on a really cool white water rafting trip while we were on our honeymoon.
We also went our to the boardwalk in IF where the temple is and it was, as always, beautiful. It reminded me of my old stomping grounds at good ole' BYU - I..
The wedding was beautiful. Outdoors and sunny. All the nieces and nephews walked down the aisle and it was Adalie's job to walk with little Nicky who was holding the rings. She was so cute and even held her little arm out like a princess down the aisle... lol.
It was so sweet to see Derick and Katie (the couple) so happy. I love weddings....it is always a reminder to me how lucky I am to have Brett...
The next day we followed Brett's mom and dad out to Colorado to stay with them for a few days as another part of our vacation.....will continue with that one tomorrow so you don't get bored reading this post half way through!
