Lots of things have been going on to make me a little teary eyed around here. First off, we have a preschool graduate! Side note- she will be taking it again, but it was a sweet moment to make into a memory. A reminder to me that my little baby girl is growing up so fast.

Second, our little Brody is 3 mths old!

our tiny baby boy that we brought home from the hospital at 4 lbs 14 ounces is now 12 lbs 1 ounce. Time is flying by. He is so aware of everything that is going on and coos non-stop. He is pretty much all smiles all the time, but still gets pretty fussy from the colic at night. Hoping that ends soon....Third, thing-this is the last full year i get to spend with my husband before he leaves for his mini residencies this time next yr for 8 mths. I get pretty emotional thinking about it so lets still not talk about it just yet. Fourth, my parents are coming into town this weekend. This is the first time they get to meet baby Brody. I haven't seen them since Christmas and I miss them terribly. My mother and father in law are coming too. I absolutely love family visits. Fifth, mothers day. I got everything I wanted. My beautiful lillies, delicious chocolate covered strawberries, a new crib mattress for Cason's bed (poor kid was sleeping on a terrible 5 yr old mattress), and a new trash can =) I wasn't supposed to tell you i got a new trash can but I want you to know how extremely excited I am for this new trash can. It was EXACTLY what I wanted for mother's day- no joke. The teary eyed thing in this story though goes to Brett- who, as it turns out, is discovering a terrible allergy to my lillies.
And sixth - my children. Good tears. Bad tears. Happy tears. Sad tears. Don't worry, mostly happy =)
