its that time of year again....
 the time when words like football have a deeper meaning
when Sundays become filled with stadium screams
when blood turns orange
when Brett's mood depends on winning or losing
when Brett gets antsy 
when we buy the nfl package
when brett thinks he knows how to ref
when the kids don't get Disney channel
when we argue with the tv
when the kids can get away with anything because attentions are focused elsewhere
when espn is almost scripture
when brett specifically asks off work
when the dvr goes crazywhen, brett wears his broncos hat 24/7
when kids are often awakened by hooting and hollerin 
 when super bowl dreams begin
when Payton Manning becomes an idol
when the NFL becomes our second language
when brett does a lot of fist pumpin'
when Sundays are daddy's days
when brett loves our big screen the most
when everyone becomes the worlds greatest coach thanks to fantasy football
when i get ignored often =)

It's NFL Football season and we have Payton Manning. Payton freakin' Manning. Brett is like a little kid at Christmas pretty much all season long. He even got himself a new hat. I am pretty sure he would wear it to clinic if they would let him and would sleep in it if he didn't squirm around so much in his sleep and was worried about bending it. It's a special time of year. Brett has gotten to the point where he just loves a good game, doesn't even matter who is playing who. It seems to get worse every year - add payton manning to that and he is sure to have a heart attack. Happy NFL season people. Oh, and Let's Go Denver Broncos!!
