EEEEEEHHHH!!! WRONG ANSWER FOLKS!!!
Lots more hair than anticipated. Dog Hair Everywhere!! We now have enough hair to make a small woolly sweater. Or maybe a taupe for Brett, but I can't get him to give a go on that one. Not a good idea to do it on the front porch on a windy day in Iowa. Again, hair everywhere. Poor dog. He is now the ugliest little thing. Like so ugly, its almost cute- but still way, way ugly. I did a terrible job and Brett wouldn't even try to touch him with the clippers. I was laughing so hard towards the end, I couldn't even see straight. He has bald patches and razor burn all over. Nothing is nice about his hair cut. I could blame it on the kids and the whole world would believe me. Cooper hates me.....even more than before.
So, next time i decide to shave the dog the dog myself - i will remember this day. I under estimated the quality of a dog groomer. It takes a skilled hand. I now don't mind paying a groomer every 3 mths to cut my dogs hair. But hey, at least I can mark "to shave a dog" off my bucket list eh?? You know, because its on everyone's yes?? We bought him a sweater so the other dogs wouldn't laugh at him and Brett says he's not aloud out of the house for walks for like two weeks. Poor dog. Poor, very, very ugly dog....
I just died laughing again because I pulled up all of the pictures we took. You should see him in person running around this house. Pathetic really. I have a feeling this will be a laugh out loud moment for our family for years and years....
