This, among other ridiculous fights, I am privileged to hear almost everyday at my house, usually when they're supposed to be eating breakfast...I wish you could read the tones in their voices....
Adalie: Dad! How big is a chicken!?!
Brett: I don't know, this big? (holding his hands to an appropriate size of a chicken)
Adalie: See!?!
Cason; Well, what about a BABY chicken!?!
ok, that one was a fair question I suppose..
The other day it was How big is Mickey Mouse? or Does Santa's sleigh bells Ring or Ding? Cason has entered the phase of ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING being a race. Putting on jamies,, finishing breakfast, getting their shoes on....and he is NOT a gracious winner. Anything Adalie says, Cason will say the opposite just to disagree and start a fight. I am pretty sure this kid was put on this earth to test my patience...and I feel like I lose quite often. Sheesh kid! I love ya, but you my dear are literally giving me my grey hairs.
The other day, Brett was taking out the trash. As he was tying up the bag he says to Adalie...
Brett: Man Adalie, what did you and mom do without me for all those months!?! (in a joking sort of tone)
Adalie: (thinking it over a bit) Fight.
Nice to know our time together was precious.
We do fight, probably a lot and she knows it. But, it is sweet to hear her say at the end of the day that even though families fight a lot sometimes, we still love each other lots more.
More Adalie-isms....
Adalie: It's hard being a mom and dad huh?
Brett: Yes it is Adalie
Adlaie: Well, its even harder being a big sister you know...

HAHAHA! Your kids sound hilarious-Good luck! Michael Dunn once told my Home teachers that I always yell at him (Which is SO not true) And I wanted to sink through the floor. My kids keep me humble. If I ever want to know how I really look I just ask my boys,
