I have to admit I am sort of getting used to Pittsburgh. It has been so much fun getting to know all the wives out here and the past few days have been beautiful weather....what I wanted the summer to look like! Yesterday we all went out to lunch at Johnny Corinos and today we all got together again for one of the girls baby showers. I attempted to make a cake and my friend Carrie and I made the girl, (Shannon I should call her I shouldn't say girl), a diaper cake! It has been so fun getting to really know the girls and hang out. I am so glad that Adalie and I are both making lots of great new friends!!
Another thing that has been happening out here is Adalie. She seems to be growing up before my eyes! She is turning into a toddler and is no longer the tiny baby girl I brought home that day from the hospital. She is getting into everything, crawling everywhere, and looking for adventure! She is becoming mommy and daddy's BIG girl and I am having mixed emotions. On one hand I am so excited that she is growing and learning new things but on the other, I am sad to know that one day she won't even need me anymore and will have her own life. I know it is so far away, but I get a little teary eyed thinking about her all grown up....

I'm so glad things are going well and that y'all are having fun now. Adalie is such a beautiful little girl! She is so photogenic. Don't get down about her growing up. She may not always need you to carry her or change her diaper, but she WILL always need you...as a friend, an example, and a support.
Adalie looks so cute in the picture she's standing up in!! She really is turning into such a little girl!
