Nauvoo!!

Was EXTREMELY HOT!! But a great Vacation with my family. 3 days of 100 degree weather....seriously. We spent the days touring and learning about Joseph Smith's history and many of the early saints life. Seriously amazing. There was such a special spirit there. I cannot believe all of the hard work and dedication of the early saints. It really made me wonder if I could do it?? The Temple was beautiful!! The Pageant was spectacular! I am so glad my children love music....both Cason and Adalie could not take their eyes off the stage and danced a clapped along to the whole show. It was an absolutely wonderful trip and we are so excited that we get to go back this November with Brett's mom and dad for Thanksgiving!! This trip is a definite must for family. I will admit it was a little hard to keep the kids interested and happy at times witrh the extreme heat. I think we will have to take the kids back when they are older so they can really see and learn more about Nauvoo.
