I have underestimated the power of a great Farmers Market until I came to Iowa. Oh and also corn. You haven't lived until you have done/had both of those things here in Iowa. It might get made fun of a lot for being just corn country (and it mostly is) but it truly has THE best corn anywhere. So good I can get my kids to eat it (MAJOR success in my house). Today we joined our friends at the market in downtown Des Moines and it was awesome!! There were a million people there...and dogs. Lots of people bring their dogs. Adalie even got to have homemade ice cream at 8:45 in the morning and Cason had a breakfast of cold pizza and ginger cookies....awesome right?? I know. We have fresh vegies and fruit out the wazoo here!! Pretty awesome. Makes me feel very healthy
Want to know what i found under my couch? Just a few things among a million... A curtain rod. Foot lotion. socks. a remote. a phone charger. a brush. half a piece of corn on the cob (from today don't worry too much). a million candy wrappers (i found adalie's secret trash stash). An old cheeto. a sippy cup. A wii remote. baby Einstein DVD.
None of it however (except maybe the corn on the cob) tops my deodorant that was found this morning in the vegetable drawer in the refrigerator. BUT I am proud to say that wasn't me....Brett didn't empty the grocery bag before he put it in the fridge.
Also, apparently someone has slipped my children crac because they are bouncing off the walls.....literally.
