TONS of info and pictures ahead.....
This year we got to have Christmas in Good Ole' Tejas. Its been 4 yrs since we have been able to be there for the Holidays. Last time I was prego with Cason and on bed rest. This time, I found out my insurance would cover out of state if anything happened so I didn't even bother asking my Dr. if I could go so I went =)

Funny thing about Texas vacations.....Although I LOVE being there and enjoy my family to the moon and back, it is anything BUT a relaxing vacation. Especially this year. My sister had a baby the day we showed up. They just got a new house so we were moving things like crazy out of mom and dad's to get things semi ready for her there (huge mess). We had to put mom and dad's house back into some order so my other sister and I had a place to actually sleep while we were there. We cleaned. We did piles upon piles of laundry. We put in a new toilet. Fixed up a bathroom. Tiled a floor. Planned a family reunion. And tons of other little projects. Oh, and Christmas was in there somewhere.....It. Was. Extremely. BUSY. But, don't underestimate the fond and memorable good tone in my voice. I still loved being home.
SO-- Christmas!!! Here we go!! This year, like the terrible parents we are, we forgot the video camera charger so the holidays were barely captured in picture. Christmas Eve Afternoon we had a brunch over at Mom and Dad's. 10 kids and 11 adults in a house built barely for 8 people. Crazy and fun. We were spoiled again and so were our children.

My sister however definitely won the prize this year with her unexpected craftiness. He mother in law is a wonderful seamstress and has been teaching her LOTS!! She restored an old poster for my dad that some of the people from his mission in Argentina had signed for him before he left and put it in a beautiful frame. She made our mom a blanket out of my Grandmama's old nightgowns....very sentimental as she passed away about a year ago and my mother has taken it quite hard. And she made all of her sisters a pillow---get this---out of my dad's old but favorite church suit.

Seriously?!?! WOW!! That night we got to go to the Williamson Christmas Eve party....a family tradition yrs and yrs strong. Since our family is getting so big (60 plus people) we had it at the church house this time. ALWAYS fun to see everyone and their budding families =)

The George Williamson Sr. Clan and Great Grand kids with still a few missing

Christmas morning we awoke around 7 am

(had to wake up the kids) to find that Santa had indeed come!!

Cason got a new trike and Adalie was supposed to have her scooter set out as well from Jolly Ole' St Nick....but he, however, forgot to put all the parts in the box. Try explaining that one to a 4 yr old on Christmas morning. Let's just say I was pretty upset. Her other big gift-her very own camera- also had to be taken back as it turned out not to work so good either. She got to play with her other 2 gifts though and we have since replaced the camera and we are waiting for Santa to send her replacement scooter this week. I had a wonderful Christmas from my amazing husband as usual and Brett seemed happy as well although his socks and moccasins were to big and had to be exchanged---he is always so hard to shop for, but there were still smiles on his face Christmas morning.

It was a wonderful Christmas all around!! Here are a few pictures to prove it....and sorry--I didn't proof read or spell check on this one so WHO knows WHAT you're reading...hopefully it just makes sense.

The kids put on a show for Grandmama and Grandpa

this picture. Just because I needed to prove how handsome my kid is...

Cool lighters the boys got from dad. A mini gun and a fishin pole

I forgot to re wrap a gift I got for Brett so it was thrown into a pillow case so he couldn't see what it was...had to document that one.
