Saturday

Today it snowed. We got lots of things done. Brett started off his morning with racquetball. Got New tires on the car. A few loads of laundry. Haircuts. Some dishes. Sidewalks and driveway shoveled. But mostly we got some fun projects done and played. Daddy didn't study all day and it was wonderful. My man went shopping for us so we didn't have to go out in the snow. He bought new tires for his new car and he picked up some paint and started painted our baby bassinet...even picked the color himself which is turning out to be beautiful! Finished project picture coming soon after a second coat =)

He also helped us with Adalie's "clubhouse" (the recliner box) which has been the best thing we would've ever gotten for her. Seriously, we should've just painted her a big box for Christmas. She loves it even more now.Welcome to Adalie's Place

Then, we got all bundled and went out into the snow for a little sledding....well with tubes!! Kids had a blast and it is always so fun to see everyone with smiles on their faces.

and my beautiful daughter...Then inside for a little hot chocolate, cake baking, and bedtime.

Tonight however, I am still a little sad for my baby boy. I am a terrible parent for waiting so long but, tonight will be Cason's first night of going to sleep without milk. We are finally taking the crutch away. Only took almost 2 yrs...ugh. Terrible. I hate my babies mad at me....especially when it is the last thing they do for the day. He is going to bed hating me. Poor thing. If I knew he would just let me hold him and snuggle a little I would go in there and do it, but I am pretty sure it will make it worse. It's going to be a rough few nights buddy, but we still love you and you can have ALL the milk you want tomorrow....just never again in bed.
