Catchin' Up a Bit

Sorry I haven't been my usual blogging self. i am still trying to get into the hang of things around here. We have been hanging out with the family a lot and I got a job at a clothing department store right next door to the house. I am excited for the discount =) Brett has got his interview today and both of us will rejoin the workforce early next week I am sure. It has been a very nice break though. Brett and I even went to a water park yesterday in Houston and had so much fun! Having such a long winter up north really makes me crave swimming! It is so relaxing and we got some good sun!!


Adalie is adjusting as well as she can. She has been having lots f fun playing and swimming with cousins.she follows her cousin Makenzie around everywhere and wants to do everything she can do.

She LOVES the water, of which I am way excited about. I was scared she wouldn't like it but every time she gets in she kicks away and tries to go off on her own. I will have to take some good pictures at the Lake this weekend. Also, fun new discovery. Adalie LOVES cat food. haha.


My sister has cats and every time Adalie gets on the floor she will head right for the cat food, grab a big handful, and already have half of it down by the time we make it over to get it out of her hands. She likes it so much and makes a HUGE fuss when we take it away or move it to wear she can't get it....maybe we should start putting that in her snack cup. haha
