I forget how special the Temple can be....and how much I love it every time we get the chance to go. Brett, my mom. and I got to go to my cousin Jeremy's wedding on Thursday and decided to go early to do some temple work. It was so wonderful and then the ceiling just topped things off. It was such a great day and I was sad I forgot my camera. It was the first time Brett and I had gotten to go back and do work in the Temple we got married in a little over two years ago. It was all around a really good day.
Today though, is Adalie's birthday. I can't believe she is already one!! I feel like time has flown by so fast, and she is getting so big. I wish I had some pictures to post of her as a newborn to compare now, but we just have the laptop here and all of her pictures are on our desktop.
She was born at 2:30 in the afternoon after 7 hours of labor. 5 pounds 8 ounces and 17 1/2 inches long. Now, a year old and 23 pounds and still not very tall....haha, but of course look at her mom and dad, she doesn't have a very good chance of being that tall anyway. I really can't think of much else to say other than how much we love her and that she has been the best surprise of our lives thus far...

I cant believe we are not there to celebrate her first Birthday!! Happy Birthday Adalie. We love and miss you. I hope her birthday party was fun and she enjoyed it. Make sure you put pictures up so Mackenzie and I can see them. Love yall!!! :)
