Adalie's first birthday was a success! It came, and it went, and we don't have to worry about stressing over another for at least a year. Of course we tried to go with a Princess theme for a little girl.
It was a good day and Adalie had no idea what was going on. She had fun with all of her little cousins running around and she loved the tiara...I am actually really surprised that she kept it on so well. She got lots of fun stuff and loved all the attention she was getting.
Her Grandma and Grandpa got her the cute little ruffly dress she wore at her party and I made the cakes.
One was supposed to look like a castle and the other just had AM on it for Adlaie Marie. We made her a cake for her to dig her face into, but she really didn't get all that messy from it, she just liked to smoosh it through her fingers.
It was a fun experience and I still can't believe time has flown by so fast....a year just came an went didn't it?

I'm glad she had a good birthday. She looks adorable as a princess. I'm sad you guys couldn't celebrate her birthday here but it's much more fun with family. We're missing you guys and hope all is well in texas
