Excited to get things done!

I love it when the house is clean and I get things done. Laundry is done. Towels are folded. Floor is swept, and mopped...it just puts me in a better mood when everything is in its place. Bills are paid for the month and pay day is Friday. Even though I know I will be cleaning up the exact same mess the next day, and paying the exact same bills next month, for a few shining moments I feel quite accomplished in life. I even had time to schedule Adalie's first year pictures. I am very excited because these are the first "professional" portraits I will have done of her. Most of the time I do them myself and feel satisfied, but I wanted someone else to have that opportunity this time =) haha We were even thinking of getting family pictures done but Brett and I both feel to fat right now to be in something permanently marked with time.
Brett has been such a great helper too! He helps me so much with Adlaie all the time but what I am really proud of is how much he has been helping my dad lately with all of his yard projects he needs to get done. He mows. He cleans. He plants. And this morning, he woke up at 6:30 to go over to mom and dads house to help clear out our lot across from mom and dads house. I mean, wow what a difference! I forgot we had that much land and it looks a lot different without trees on it. I love that my husband loves to help people, especially his family. So proud.

you sillies... you should make sure and get family pics b/c you might be sad later if you don't. We take one every year at the end of the year and I love to see the "change" they aren't always professional pics but I have them in my hallway and it is fun to see how our family has grown and changed.

I love that y'all are enjoying TX
and I TOO LOVE when I feel like I have accomplished a TON!

Take the picture! It won't matter how you look. It's a great feeling to get stuff accomplished.

Hey Lydia!! Happy Birthday! I just read in one of your posts that your birthday was the 16th then I looked at the calendar and that's today! I thought ya'll were in Penn.? Maybe you still are and I'm just confused. I can't believe your little girl is semi-walking. How exciting! Hope everything is great with ya'll.
