Yesterday daddy took us out on a family date! We went to go see Kung Fu Panda II at this theater and one of the best thing about it is that Adalie AND Cason were both free. Absolutely awesome in our book! Adalie loved the whole thing and Cason lasted about the first hour shoving his face with popcorn. Seriously, he is a Sorensen through and through when it comes to loving his popcorn. The movie was cute and it even leaves it open for a third one. Which, I am strangely excited about. Should be fun.
We are trying to find things to do with our time here in Des Moines for the summer. Brett gets pretty bored doing nothing all day. We start by planning out our week at Family Home Evening on Monday nights. This is our first week. We have done pretty well i think keeping the fun in and the boring to a minimum, but it has been kind of hard since both Brett and I are taking our turn at being sick. Plus it is so stinkin hot outside that hanging out inside the house with the AC is sort of ideal right now....Plus we need fun things to do on a medical student budget of practically nothing =) Suggestions appreciated...

Flying kites! I went and got a 1$ kite at walmart and headed to the park with the kids. The kite flew great and we had so much fun!! And we had a picnic of course!
I'm not totally sure what you can do - I've never had the crazy good luck of a fabulous summer off with my husband but whatever you do - please blog about it! Love following y'alls great adventures. Sorry you're sick though. Get well and go play!
