So I don't know if y'all know this but trick or treating happens here on the 30th...it's called Begger's Night so that's what we did tonight!! Just a quick little trip with Adalie and I around a little neighborhood close by. Daddy stayed home with Cason who has his turn with a runny nose around here.
I don't think however trick or treating is a big deal around here like I am used to it being other places. Out of the 50-ish condos here where we live, maybe 12 had their porch lights on to pass out some candy. And I expected hundreds of kids on the sidewalks where we were walking all dressed up in costume, but that was a no go too. Just a few patches of kids here and there. Adalie had lots of fun though and still racked in some nice goodies.
We also had a branch trunk or treat party last night and got some good stuff there.
PLUS the 150 candy bag we bought didn't get much damage so we still have that hanging around. All in all, lots of candy to chow down on through the next week. Who am I kidding??? Tomorrow....
