You were the best pair of jeans a girl like me could ever ask for and today I feel your loss. As my butt sags and my belly extends, I dream of the days that you used to hold it all in. My muffin top wasn't there...because of you. You were so good to me. We made it four years together, and even through 2 pregnancies. All I had to do was use a rubber band and you would pull your weight....well mine rather. But now I fear I must say goodbye. The material has become to thin. The wholes to great. And the bottoms to shredded. But just remember how much I really loved you...Your flare legs, your white washed color, and cute copper buttons. I remember the day I found you. It's like you called out to me from that lonely rack filled with all of those impostures. You knew me and knew what I needed. It was one of those rare relationships in life where it was just meant to be. I can never really replace you and I will absolutely hate finding a replacement. Jean shopping is not something a girl takes lightly and I am sure it will take me months to find a pair that I loved as much as you.
So, I raise my glass, to you. Here is to you Blue Jeans. Thanks you for loving my body...I will never forget you.

i'm STILL missing several pairs of my favorite jeans that i had to say goodbye to so many years ago... when it comes to blue jeans, time heals very slowly.

i feel your pain. i have to go jean shopping, because my favorite pair is so worn and the bottom of the pant legs is pretty much shredded. good luck finding a new pair. or should i say, a new friend? ;)
