Potty Mouth

Well we had a pretty funny experience with our little two year old when we were out and about yesterday shopping. We went to Wal-mart and there of course were so many people there we couldn't find a parking spot. It was cold, wet, nasty, and snowing so that even added to our frustration of not getting a good parking spot...silly I know but you've all been there. And I never help the situation being big and pregnant and always wanting something close. I think Adalie was starting to see how upset I was getting, especially when we passed one up and someone esle took it. I don't even remember what I said, I think Brett and I let out some sort of a grunt to show that we were upset and all the sudden from the back seat we hear "d****t" Atleast that is what I though she said but we weren't sure at first. Where would she even get that word and know how to uses it? Brett and I don't say anything of a sort around the house or ever...I think cursing is very tacky anyway. We kept asking her what she said and she would shrug her shoulders and say I don't know, until a car pulled out in front of us and she screamed "D****t!" No mistaking it that time. It was THAT word for sure. I couldn't help it and busted out laughing, which made her start laughing and saying it over and over again because she saw I was getting a laugh out of it. We were both trying to correct her but she could see ours smiles. Finally we calmed down enough to explain to her that this is a bad word and we don't say those things ever. I think she understood, and hopefully this never hapens again, but I can't believe she even said it!! I think we need to be careful about what we watch around her on TV because that is the only place I can think she may get it from? Someone please tell me that they have had this experience or something like it before with their kids....it would make me feel better. We can't imagine what people would say if she broke out in nursery or church with this word!!! Ahhh!!
