It all started on Monday when my Dr asked me to come in so she could get and early start on her vacation (I think). My apt was originally on Wednesday but I guess she was trying to leave Tuesday after work for her Christmas Vaca. Anywho, I have been feeling lots and lots of pressure and very uncomfortable. Anytime I walk around for too long I feel like a bowling ball is about to fall out of me. Well, she checked me and then comes the bad news. I can't go home or anywhere for Christmas. The baby has already dropped very low, my cervix is almost %80, and she needs me to stay close. I am on pelvic rest again. She said the traveling isn't going to be very good for me and would feel more comfortable if we could just stay close to Utah for the Holidays. I was, and still am, absolutely devastated. We have been planning this Christmas since forever ago. I am so so so sad!! I am going to be the only one not coming home for the Holidays. I feel like I have ruined every one's Christmas.
Second, Brett got sick on Sunday, really bad sick. Chills. Fever. Cough. Soar throat. Headaches. Runny nose. The whole works. Never a good sign, especially living in a house with a wife whose amune system is pretty much shot. Well, I got it. Tuesday was the worst, I thought and then on Thursday I couldn't stand it anymore and went into the Dr. I either have swine flu or pneumonia. Ya, neither one is good at all. They took a swine flu test so I won't know until they call me back sometimes this afternoon. They gave me medicine for both though just in case. If it isn't the swine flu, which it SHOULDN'T be because I got the shot (ya mad about that) I have pneumonia and will go to the hospital tomorrow for x rays if the meds haven't made me feel better yet....which they haven't.
It has been a very bad week with bad news and bad luck. I feel like I can't even function. I am absolutely no help to my husband and daughter and I snap at everything. Ugh I will keep you updated. But if you don't hear from me for a while, I am in the hospital.

Lydia I'm so sorry to hear about all of this. That is a very bad week. I really hope you start feeling better and baby doesn't come out for awhile longer!

Lydia I am SO SORRY! That stinks- I hope everything gets figured out soon and I wish you could go home for Christmas.
So sorry to hear all this! Hope you all feel better soon! And I know it's hard to have your plans changed. I hope you guys can make some wonderful memories this Christmas whatever you end up doing.
