Monday night we had a quick family activity of decorating a gingerbread house before Dad had to head off to home teaching. He only had about an hour and half after work to squeeze in dinner and a family activity. Instead of making everything, I took the lazy route and bought one of those pre-made kits at wal-mart for $7 which I thought was a pretty okay deal considering I had nothing to make gingerbread or icing and decorations with anyways and all of that was costing me about $15. haha Anywho, it was way fun! Adalie was enjoying the icing...she kept getting it off the house so Brett had to keep putting some on her fingers.

This definitely wasn't a house anyone else would want to eat except her and maybe Brett and I. She had her sticky little fingers all over this thing! So warning, LOTS of
pictures and I look pretty trashy too haha. Oh and our here is our Fun little Christmas tree this year. Poor Brett was so sad I had us go with a fake one this year since our apt is so small and we were supposed to be gone. He has never had a fake tree before in his life.

We decorated and destroyed the whole thing in about 45 mins. We even took turns devouring. I might have put it out for decoration for a few days but the roof was caving in and the icing was becoming un-sticky. Besides, it looked too tasty anyway! I forgot how good gingerbread was! It's funny, Brett put the house together with Adalie and if you look really close, you can see that the roof is opposite ways on either side. One side has shingle going down and the other has them facing up! Good job honey! Haha!
